A few changes around here

I’m kinda simplifying stuff and trying to save some money so I can keep putting out records. I realized I was spending about $1500 a year on mailing list, site hosting, etc. which is a lot of money when you’re running a label that basically breaks even on a good year. I’ve also been tracking orders and communication and it seems like about 90% of people are ordering directly from Bandcamp and the Mailchimp letters only amount to a few new orders. So I’m ditching MailChimp and I’m ditching out webstore. I’ll be selling and communicating directly on Bandcamp. There’s always the chance, now that it’s in corporate hands, that Bandcamp will totally fuck us over, at which point, I’ll move on to plan C. But it will work for now. Here are some direct links. I’d recommend picking something up from us if you want to be informed of new releases. There are lots of “pay what you will” (i.e. free) downloads on the site including this cool Rough Kids cover of Attitudes by the Brat. Just put $0, click “add me to Dirt Cult’s mailing list” and check out!

I’ll also be selling new and used records on Discogs.

Ok, lots of exciting stuff to come, but that’s all for now.
